Spreading Herpes

August 31st, 2009

I sometimes wonder how guys think about this.  Herpes is a highly communicable disease, and while herpes simplex or cold sores are mostly just annoying, they can get quite severe to say the least, depending of course on the case.  Simplex herpes is also quite common considering if you have just one cold sore ever, you have it and you really can’t cure it to be frank.  But that aside, I’m thinking about the more awkward, embarrassing and otherwise not fun types of herpes.

There are some guys that seem to get around, and for some reason they feel the need to share with their friends, why I still have no idea.  Now girls in general tend to think of it one way.  If you and your friend end up with the same guy, you’ve basically been with each other, because obviously anything any one of the three of you have will spread to the other two inevitably enough.  But guys apparently don’t think of it that way, and unlike AIDS or something like that, nobody’s actually required to tell their partners if they have it.  Granted, it would be nice.  But it’s better to be cautious either way, because you can’t always count on the other person to do so, and herpes is of course the most common problem that ensues.
